Common Cat Snake
The Boiga trigonata, commonly known as the Indian gamma snake or common cat snake, is a species of rear-fanged s.nake found in South Asia. It is characterized by its slender build, distinctive "gamma" or "Y"-shaped marking on its head, and its ability to adapt to various habitats like forests, grasslands, and wetlands. While venomous, its venom is not considered highly dangerous to humans.
Tawny Cat Snake
This is a mildly venomous snake called Birale Sarpa in Nepali due to its eyes' resemblance to those of cats. It mainly feeds on birds, reptiles, and small rodents.
