A word about us

The Snake Conservation Society (SCS), Nepal is a non-profit organization that was established with the aim of conserving different species of snakes in Nepal. Our mission is to promote the conservation of snakes and their natural habitat. We implement positive change in human attitudes toward snakes by awaring the community about snakes' importance of snakes in different ecological, spiritual, and cultural aspects in Nepal. SCS Nepal also discourages illegal trade, killing, and poaching of Herpetofaunal species. Our goal is to establish snake rescue centre for snake. We are based in Gandaki Province, Nepal, and we work to promote and expand our mission regionally throughout Nepal as well as globally.
